Support for Business in difficult times

Event signposts the way to advice and financial support

A unique event providing local business with access to key business agencies in the region,co-ordinated by Reading UK CIC, took place in Reading on April 22. 

The event - Support for Business - at the Holiday Inn Reading South attracted an audience from many parts of the business community, including small businesses and national names.   The evening provided attendees with information on how to access finance from both government and financial institutions, how to tender for government business, and about the region's economic prospects in the build up to the 2012 Games. 

Speakers included representatives from Lloyds TSB and RBS, as well as Business Link and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (base for the 2012 Olympic rowing events at Dorney Lakes).
