Calling all agents, commercial property consultants and landlords…
Jelly and Reading UK CIC continue to work in partnership on an initiative to enhance the town centre through temporary use of empty commercial units as ‘Art Windows’. jelly can deliver a high quality programme of temporary exhibitions in vacant units, with work provided by local artists.
Jelly will install a temporary exhibition programme that will include bringing the unit up to useable quality standard by clearing out visible debris, applying a lick of paint and making the unit look more attractive. The (local) artists’ work will be of a high standard and situated such that there will be no need for access to view the work (other than during the set-up and take-down days). jelly will market the exhibition and can vacate the units within 48 hours if necessary.
Reading UK CIC asks that, in return, free use of the unit is provided, along with lighting and power. There will be no impediment to access for viewings (of the unit) for commercial reasons.
