Taking New Directions

New Directions is the Learning & Employment Service for Reading.

It is a service provided by Reading Borough Council, offering a wide range of part-time courses and employment services for adults in Reading.

Its mission is to provide the best value adult, family learning and employment opportunities to meet the needs and aspirations of the whole community of Reading.

All its employment services are free of charge, and the range of courses are either subsidised by government funding or in some cases are completely free.

New Directions provides part-time courses in the following categories:

You will find a New Direction centre near you - there are venues in central, north, south and west Reading. Call into the Central Reading Centre (opposite Reading station) to find out more.  Open 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday.
