Reading UK welcomes new members to its Board of Directors. 

 

Reading UK has appointed two new members to its Board of Directors from major companies based in Reading. Angela Haygarth, Associate Director of Grant Thornton UK LLP, and Daniel Lampard, Senior Director of Lichfields, will be bringing their huge experience to the benefit of Reading.

Reading UK exists to boost business in Reading and enhance visitor experiences in a way that improves the quality of life of all in the Reading region. Its Board of Directors represents key stakeholders across Reading, including the University of Reading, Reading Borough Council and the private sector, with representation from the retail, planning, property, transport, media and finance sectors.  

Haygarth Angela 14339 024 4 HS jpgAngela Haygarth (pictured left) is Associate Director at accountancy firm Grant Thornton. With more than 19 years of experience in the industry, Angela has previously worked with BDO and Nortons Group. Besides sitting on the Board, Angela will join the Board’s Finance and Reporting Committee.

Dan LampardDaniel Lampard (pictured right) is an experienced planning consultant who leads Lichfields’ Thames Valley Office. Lichfields are also an economic development consultancy and their London office helped develop the current economic development plan for Reading. Daniel advises clients on planning strategies and co-ordinates project teams to deliver planning permissions on sites across the region. As well as being a Board member of Reading UK, he also chairs the organisation’s Business, Growth and Skills Group.

Daniel Lampard, Senior Director of Lichfields said “I am delighted to be joining the Board and look forward to building on the success that Reading UK has achieved in maximising Readings potential and meeting some of the challenges that this economic vibrancy brings with it.”
