The 13.1 mile race in Reading takes runners past many of the town’s iconic landmarks as they make their way along one of the fastest and flattest courses in the UK.

Thousands of runners will follow the scenic route starting in the gorgeous lake-front of Green Park, diverting through the University of Reading campus, charming stretches of riverfront, the historic town centre including Reading Abbey and West Reading’s Prospect Park, crossing the line in the 24,000 seater Madejski Stadium. These are just a few sections of the incredible route that makes up one of the UK’s premier running races.

rhmrouteTens of thousands of Reading residents come out to support the runners with bands located along the route to encourage the runners making the Reading Half Marathon one of the most atmospheric races in the UK.

Thousands of people have already signed up to the Sage sponsored event with places still available. For those among you who really want to test yourself, Olympians are known to take part.
